Today’s line-up offers a wide range of both agriculture and entertainment to keep everyone on their toes. Whether it’s the Alpaca or the abundance of delicious delicacies awaiting you at the Sydney Royal “Corner Store”, the Show continues to amaze.

Today’s highlights:

The Sydney Royal Alpaca & Fleece Show
Alpaca fleece is the fibre of the day at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. With a variety of competitions to add a unique agricultural twist to your Good Friday, make sure to make your way to the Alpaca judging in the Munro Pavilion. The Show provides one of the most prestigious Alpaca competitions in Australia, so you do not want to miss out as the soft natural crimped fleeced Huacaya and long luxurious Suri breeds compete to win their sections for Best Alpaca. If the competitions aren’t your thing, you can even take one for a walk or check-out the Alpaca Shearing.

Sydney Royal Corner Store
Part of “foodies row” in the international award winning “The Stables” is one food stall that no foodies will want to miss, the Sydney Royal Corner Store. The Corner Store is the place for a taste of award-winning delicacies such as Garlicious Grown Black Garlic or even Macadamia Nut Dukkah for your dessert. The corner store features medal winning food and drink from Sydney Royal Wine, Dairy and Fine Food competitions across the calendar year. More than 5000 entries are received every year by Sydney Royal across almost 500 classes.

Sydney Royal Poultry Show Champions
Considered the benchmark Poultry show in Australia, the Sydney Royal Poultry Show Championships are highlighted today. This year’s feature breed is Field and Forest birds in the Steggles Pavilion. There is a captivating elegance to these breeds that many of us never get to see other than here at The Show.

Coca Cola Carnival
For the most hair-raising fun at the Show make sure to head on over to a Show favourite, the Coca Cola Carnival. Guaranteed to have something for everyone, this carnival will have you spinning around in circles and witnessing the best views of the show from atop the skymaster wheel! The carnival can sling you up and Mega drop you down and if heights aren’t your thing, maybe try the 9D Cinema?
