The Philippine Austrlia Community of Tasmania, Inc. celebrated the 117th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, held at Wrestpoint Hotel and Casino , Hobart on the 20th of June.
Once again, it was a great opportunity for us Filipinos overseas to show and share special traditions handed down from generations to generations. It was a night of giving thanks and a night full of appreciation to those who continue to uphold the ideals his Excellency President Benigno Aquino III believe in.
We would like to acknowledge the presence of Hon. Scott Bacon MP, Consul General Peter Cretan, Hobart city Vice Mayor Ron Christie and Alderman Daniel Hulme of Clarence City. The President, Mr. Victor Folloso would like to thank all the guests and members, our performers, our donors and major donors Mr. and Mrs. Graham and Christy Forsythe.
